I freakin found Pennywise (or more like the red balloon) in the ******** while playing the game. What a surprise!! (too bad i didn't record the easter egg)
I just played it again just for fun and I stumbled upon the **se**nt and saw just a weird looking wall so I thought it was a glitch or some sorts. Didn't know I can go through it. First reaction going in was like OMG.
I have recently played the game again and to my surprise I couldn't get it again.
My conclusion is that I was very very lucky to find it the first time. Also yes its in the basement all the way at the end. If you're lucky enough then the far end wall would not be a wall and will be black
Did you ever figure out how to recreate this?? I have been trying everything I can think of. I tried visiting the basement between every tape/key/item both with and without touching the Clown doll. The clown doll much be important to this! But I can't seem to replicate the conditions :/
Ok, so this game...is GOD TIER. I usually don't enjoy pixel games, especially 2D types, but this one made me a believer! The toy obstacles are perfect and the way Hopps comes after you is genuinely blood pumping! Wish I knew about the other endings though, I only got 2.

Hello! i just wanted say i enjoyed playing this game and although i didn't beat this yet, i can't wait to come back and try to finished this! oh and the game did scare me :)
The game was fun for how short it is. I would love to see more of this. The only thing I didn't like was Mr. Hopp's AI with how it was random or would stay agroed on the character. Besides that fantastic!

There are 3 endings. The 1st ending is a pretty easy ending to get. It's called "Sleep Tight". It's when Ruby heads to bed insisting that this is all a bad dream. Then, there is the most common ending, the "Escape Ending". This is when Ruby finds the gen and shoots Mr. Hopp away, but doesn't kill him. And then there is the secret ending, the "Firestarter" ending. This is when Ruby sets the house on fire and kills Mr. Hopp in the fire after he begs for forgiveness and claims to be her family. She refuses and escapes just in time.
I was able to get all three endings. Great job on this game! It gave me that good ol' adrenaline. I also like how this feels somewhat like a platformer. I think it's a good mix and I absolutely LOVE the Easter eggs. If I may ask: What engine did you use to make this game?

So i figured out how to burn the house down, but how do i find/save Ruby's mother? I'm pretty sure both are needed to get the best ending (since her dad probably got hopped), and would appreciate any hints

I found the lighter fluid but can't light the fire???
Light the cloth in the couch with the matches, and just leave the fire going, then completee the game.
